The Generals Story
Welcome to the General's Garage.
The General is my 1970 Ford Fairmont XY V8
I nick named it after a car on the Tv show The Dukes of Hazzard called the General Lee, I have called it the General ever since and thats how she has always been known.
My Mum and Dad bought the General brand new on January 19th 1971. I just recently took over her and have claimed her my car.
I have always loved driving her,
she was the first car I learnt to drive.
Out of all the cars in my last
12 years of driving (Im now 31)
and I've had quite a few cars ,
She is and always will be the best..
The General has always been the most reliable and enjoyable car ever!
Im still suprised at how
many people stop and ask
me about her where ever
I park or when I'm filling her up,
my goal is just to keep her as orriginal as possible but have a few nicities in her .
This is all people see of me and the General as we fly past them
